Stuff I like

There are a few of free software things I really like among linux foss word, these vary between simulators and games and they are all running in linux for sure. They are:

Flightgear

Flightgear is a free open-source multi-platform flight simulator developed by the FlightGear project since 1997. (see the page on wikipedia).
On Saturday 11 october 2008 I attended a little multiplayer event in the south of iceland (Virtual one), here you can see some screenshoot of it !

Aviation concepts in few words (Taken from flightgear doc page):

An airplane is quite fragile and flies at high speeds. Yet it is one of the safest forms of transport.
Pilots must constantly follow rules and procedures. Yet an airplane is a symbol of freedom.
With a little training, flight a small aircraft is easy. Yet if a problem occurs, you must be able to resolve it in a few seconds.
Many flight tutorials are written with a lot of humor. Yet not taking flying seriously will bring you down to earth prematurely.

Tremulous
